Hello All, This is Gajendra, your local guide from Mumbai.
To know my side of the story, let me start with myself. Who Am I and then I will take you to the journey where
we will talk about what I love sharing the most and why.
I am a trekking enthusiast and love traveling place. I found love in Mumbai when I went to a trek for the very first time. It was raining heavily and I conquered a fort near Mumbai. But it was too late to descend and when we came back, we didn’t get any public transport. Somehow I reached home.
On another trip, I fell from 20 feet while trekking and found no emergency number.
I suppose this story is not of myself alone. There are millions of people who travel to different countries,
different cities, restaurants, weekend gateways. And they should have proper information about everything where they’re going.
These issues and problems were resolved when Gmaps came and it allowed people to update their experiences, reviews,
critical information. When I faced the problem mentioned above, I joined Google years ago as a Local guide.
I love to share critical information such as emergency numbers, timings, etc. I love to share photographs of places so that people can take note of how the surroundings will be. I love to share my experiences with people so that they don’t face what I
faced.
And you know why I share this? Because I want to see people happy, carefree, feel cosmopolitan, feel safe in a different place.
