Besides being a great app for overseas navigation, Google Maps has constantly evolved over the years to provide many new functionalities, such as (a) Offline Maps, (b) Location Sharing, as well as (c) My Maps, to better empower individuals like myself, to immerse and experience the many world wonders safely, while knowing that Google Maps can be a reliable backup tool when we went slightly off-the-edge.
I myself had a few “carried-away” situations while exploring along either in a brand new country or some city alone in the dark. My roundabout detours were only possible, with the technologies made by Google Maps.
It has been my personal blessings that I was helped along by my foreign-locals and travelers alike, to show me on secret hideouts, best outlook spots, and especially help lead me when I got so utterly lost, that I had embarked on my little journey to help add my own authentic experiences and stories to Google Maps, in an effort to help others explore this wonderful world of us, and hopefully get to their end point faster and safer!
It was others who had Shared-With-Me that had Changed-My-Life for the better, and I would love to Pay-It-Forward with my contributions as a Local Guide!

Thanks for the swift reply on the matter, though I didn’t know the Spam filter affected my post.
