If you are passionate about helping others to find their ways in life, here is your right spot to share knowledges and experience about what makes us proud to be local guides. All is about sharing and connecting to people all around the world.
My Name is David and I am based in Cape Town the mother city of South Africa. This place connects history, Geography, time and nature to a variety of cultures making it one of the great touristic destination in the world.
There is more pleasure in giving than in receiving a wisdom tell, so sharing informations, experiences, pictures is a powerful way to empower fellow world citizens with useful knowledges and connecting ourselves to people by being relevant in some guiding ways. Believe me this experience by itself is very gratifying to know that someone has been helped somewhere using your reviews, pictures or informations.
Helping the community to find places and informations about places is a way of being a leader and all should be passionate to help people to find their way by sharing as local Guides.
In today and always world seeing is believing, for this reason I like to captures moments on photos for a lasting memory and visual experience that helps anyone on google map to familiarise himself with the place they intend to visit. It is all about sharing and staying connected.
I have been helped a lot using reviews and informations and photos posted by other local guides in my recent visit of Amsterdam city in the Netherland. I could find hotels and compare prices and distances to the public transport, I could plan places to go and find visiting hours and entry fees, restaurants and differents places around. This helps me to save time, money and energy and I would always be glad to learn that in the same way someone is helped by my contributions.
My favourite things to explore are natural sites and historical places. There is wonderful natural places that connect us to mother nature giving us an insight of how it is important to protect our environment and respect it for future generations to also enjoy it, like the Kirstenbosch garden in Cape Town, South Africa, up to the Art Garden de Brussels in Belgium.
Historical places are written visible story that connecting us to the time, past, present and future it tells a living story about cultures, peoples and events. Example the Robben Island Museum in Cape Town, South Africa or the famous Place de la Concorde in Paris, France.
I am happy and proud to share to stay connected with people as a local guide, aren’t you too?
