Hello everyone, I am Monika from India. I want to talk about special place which is my Hometown and where I am born, lived great movements of my life. I born in Jalandhar which is one of the big cities of Punjab in India. I have spent 43 years of my life here. It is the most famous city of Punjab than other cities like Amritsar and Ludhiana. It is popular because of its Industries, Education centres, Historical Significance and Famous Personalities. As per history Jalandhar is the oldest Indian State. It has best infrastructure than other cities.
As I have spent my life here . I would like to share some glimpse of Jalandhar on Google so that it could help others also.
RELIGIOUS SIGNIFICANCE:- Many of the famous Religious places are in Jalandhar. All religions are equally given importance.
In Jalandhar we have Shree Devi Talab Temple, Shree Talhan Sahib Gurudwara, Gurudwara Chhevin Padshahi is famous for its religious importance. Tulsi plant is also origin in Jalandhar and its temple is also in Jalandhar. Besides this here is Iman Nassiruddin Mosque, St. Mary’s Cathedral Church. In Jalandhar all religions have its own importance.
FUN PLACES:- Top places for having fun with family are also a great part of Jalandhar. Water Parks and Amusement parks are always best here. Places like Rangla Punjab Wonderland, Pushpa Gujral Science City, Nikku Park, Jawahar Park and many more.
MEDIA:- Media is also a big part of my city. Doordarshan, Punjab Kesari, Ajit Newspaper, All India Radio, Big FM are the main programs of media of Jalandhar.
EDUCATION:- Education sector is also very strong here. All big schools like Cambridge School, Mayor World School, Little Blossom etc. And all big universities like LPU,CT Institutions, DAV, Punjab University are in Jalandhar.
FOOD POINTS:- There are lots of good Food points in Jalandhar. I want to point out some of the best food points like The Great Kabab Factory in Raddisson Hotel, Haveli, Sagar Ratna, Food Bazar,Nik Bakers, Jawali Pakora in Jalandhar Cantt are my favourites.
