the temple is height of 1000ft above the valley from here you can see panoramic view of whole Kashmir
the temple is acessable via road it is in reserve forest zone so anybody have to enter this zone only in daylight of gagribal road.
The temple and adjacent land is a monument of national importance
centrally protected by #Archaeological survey of INDIA.

Thank you for writing about Shankaracharya Temple. From your discussion ,it is understood that it is located on a hill and the temple offers a beautiful view of nature. If I ever get a chance ,I will definitely visit Shankaracharya Temple.
I have been here once in 2017. It’s is a absolute beauty. Like several other religious places, it is also on a hilltop. From the hilltop one can witness the beauty of whole srinagar and glimpse of dal lake too.
Wow beautiful description @TravellerVijay about Shankaracharya Temple. The view is simply amazing. Though this place is located in a reserve forest area, still there is a long queue of people to visit the Temple.

I will take part have to check have few photos of Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Ujjain Indore .But that time it was under construction.
