They know a cozy resturant or coffee shop in a dead-end alley in the downtown with a cute owner or a small garden or souvenir shop for buying unique hand-made handicraft that they didn’t listed in Tripadvisor or Lonely planet book.
To be honest, a friend of mine recommended using these Google feature and it is mean to me a virtual community of close friend around a common interest, we show points to each other and honoring.
Several things have changed in my life style after local guide. One of them is I feel that I am representative of my city so I have to be Precise and responsible about things that I write, review, checking fact or edited.
On one hand simple things like reviewing, and taking photo of local sites and businesses and places plus non local sightseeing can bring about a huge comfort and confidence for a number of travelers.

Time is one of the worthy resources in the world. When we say something, write a review, upload a photo or movie, rank, edit or … we save time for many people. It is very simple knowledge for us (as a local and permanent person) about parking spaces around a historical monument or quality of a resturant or finding a cozy coffee shop but for a traveler it is mystery. they lose time and peace for finding a parking lot in a rush hour but we can write only a sentence “use public transportation” and save half of day for them and make a pleasant sightseeing, so Local guides program mean to me Collective Wisdom for easier life.
