The picture is out of this world @jonieevangelista ! When I saw it I immediatelly started to fantasize about summer and warm sand beaches. Did you went on a holiday in Palau? I would love to hear the backstory, if you don’t mind sharing of course
What a photo, and what a place!!
I want to fight there right now. The sun is a dream right now, in my area.
One question: which kind of airplane is that? Are you a pilot?
OK, two questions
Ermes
I’m working here in Palau as I.T., I was just given a chance to join a ride with this nice small plane from one of the org. here called PMA. I can only see this view of so-called “Seventy Islands” in the pictures such as cards, calendars and posters, but this one that I posted was my own shot in the air, it is indeed exciting and amazing to see these islets in actual view. Snorkeling and Scuba Diving are the main attraction in Palau.
Here is the location of Ngerukewid
Hello Ermest!
not a pilot, i do not know exactly what type of plane this is,
but here’s the picture of it, that’s me holding the baby.
our pilot is Marcus the Man In Black
weather here is fine-sunny and tropical.
Thanks @jonieevangelista
Beautiful shot indeed. Just thinking: we only have an old posts about your islands here in Connect, and no photos.
Do you like the idea of being our Local Local Guide, and share with us a post to introduce yourself and your place to the community?
I would love it.
Nice that you were invited to see your paradise from the sky.
Thanks for sharing with us
Ermes
Thanks! I will try.
WOW @jonieevangelista amazing picture !
thank you for sharing !
Great @jonieevangelista
I can’t wait to see it.
If you need some tips about how to write a wonderful post, just tell me.
I think that also @KarenVChin
Will be happy to help you.
Ermes
@jonieevangelista , you must think we are crazy! But you do need to share and tell your story here on Connect.
I had no idea where you are - Palau, let alone this mystical magical place called Ngerukewid!
i just did a Google Search and literally found not much other than a map
And UNESCO World Heritage Centre and booking.com links. It would be wonderful, like @ErmesT @KlaudiyaG suggested to be our local Local Guide and put these two places on Google Maps for the world to see.
Please, please rate, review, uploaded photos for Ngerukewid on Google Maps too!
You will be the very first Local Guide to do so! @TraciC , this is an amazing story to be told!
@jonieevangelista , if you are not familiar, you will gain at minimum of 26 points for your Local Guides contribution before uploading photos, video, or answering auto-generated Google Maps questions - How to Earn Local Guides Points
