Please don’t move my post around to different mass threads … I cannot follow my previous posts due to being moved to other threads and no links lead me back to them.
Next thing I would suggest is to open your own profile without logging in via incognito mode in your browser and compare the number of reviews and number of photos between the two. If you see less in incognito mode then some of your contributions have been marked private which can happen for a lot of reasons.
When I look at your contributions I see 11,706 points - I don’t see any significant issues in your photo contributions, the only red flag I see is that you’ve reviewed a lot of places in a short frame of time and give them very cursory comments. You may have been picked up by a spam filter. Are you visiting and fully experiencing each of these places you are reviewing and are entering them with the intention to conduct business?
Thaks Paul I will do, please take a look at these two snapshots to see what am I pointing at to. Please note number of answers and number of contribution points
A) I was visiting a new shopping center and there were lots of opportunities for me to buy and or investigate types of services and guarantees… If you also take a closer look at those contributions you will see that all of them are from the same shopping mall.
B) Sometimes I collect data and when I have good internet connection I publish them.
I thought to mention these two reason just to address “the res flag” you mentioned in passing.
I opened my profile in my laptop without logging in… I could only see the reduced numbers not that one I had for two weeks ago )as it is shown in attached screenshot in my previous post
please also note the loose of number of likes (it is zero now) and number of answers
I have lost all likes on my photos and almost 800 contribution points.
If all these troubles are user depended, how it comes then, that so many local guides experience similar problems almost at the same time?
I have not made any change to my default settings in my account. I don’t know of any post or comments or pictures that might violate the policy.
I don’t know how other local guides are doing, but I think that, it is annoying and disappointing to see how these kinds of questions have been handled by Google.
To be frank I think Google doesn’t care that much about it. So many local guides spend so much time to describe their experiences for nothing!
We all know that, indifferent is the most harmful behavior for any kind of business. I hope that Google solves this problem soon. But insinuating that so many users have done same kinds of mistake in almost same timeframe is not so convincing.
Hi @I-am-Q I had a look at your contributions and as general feedback the photo contributions are very good. There’s the occasional duplicate and a few with groups of people but certainly no more of them than I have which is easily put down to an unusual mistake.
There has been a views issue but that has been resolved. I only see a handful of people who seem to have an issue similar to yours.
When I multiply out your contributions based on your Maps profile they seem to match your points that you have.
For the things like views and likes, they come and go from time to time, they usually recover themselves within 48 to 72 hours which is why I asked if yours had returned yet as they are likely to do so.
