Hard Rock Vancouver where I serve as Count Team member is setting a committee to Save the :earth_americas:

Due to recent spike in local :fuelpump: prices @ the pumps. Many Metro Vancouver residents have to come up with all kinds of solutions to combat new era of high Gas prices.

  1. Taking public transportation

  2. Bike to work

  3. Take company buses to Skytrain stations or malls

  4. Car pooling especially Coquitlam is relatively smaller municipality compared to Vancouver or Surrey

  5. Established minimum 12 charging stations with various sponsors - BC Hydro, BCGEU, Charge Point, City of Coquitlam

  6. Set up solar power @ main building, parkade and theatre plus future hotel

  7. Change building lighting and flushing systems to conform with latest LEED standards

  8. Encourage patrons to come up with new ideas and give out FREE Seafood Platters to ideas adopted and 800 FREE play

  9. Invite prominent public Speakers to series of lectures to Save the :earth_americas:

Due to drastic weather changes in recent years, combating serious forest fires in BC are important and costly issues. How could we as average citizens help Forest Services BC to reduce potential Fire Hazards. These are serious issues we need to think about before our forests are burned up 1 Day.
