This is a humble request from Videos and 360 Spheres to allocate them a separate place under LG profile in the same way as is there for Reviews and Photos.
At present, videos and 360 spheres are all clubbed under Photos. It is very difficult to look for the contributed videoes and 360 spheres out of the whole lot of contributions under Photos. There are some workarounds to search for videos like “0:” search(we will discuss this later) but that will not work well in case where videos contributions are in hundreds, thousands or more. Similarly, one can go to the POI and look for contributed Videos and/or 360 Spheres but that will work only for the specific POI and that too if they are not hidden.
Hence, there is a request cum suggestion to have a separate placeholders under LG profile as it is there in the below screenshot for Contribute, Reviews, Photos and Edits. Similarly, we can also have Videos and 360 spheres along with others.
To have more granularity for filtering our contents/contributions has been suggested several times in the past, but I think one more (recent) post doesn’t hurt.
I would like to add the same request for Edits, separating Pending, Approved and Not Approved in different tabs, or sub-tabs.
As the program has increased a lot in the years, checking and finding our specific contributions is every day more difficult, so you have my vote
That would make our time spent as Local Guides much simpler to manage. I also wish that we could see our photo and review views whenever we visited a POI, not just when we are on our profile and need to scroll to find.
I hope this will serve as a polite reminder to Google that their LGs would truly appreciate such features!
Dear friend @Kumaarsantosh , I fully agree with your suggestion to have a separate placeholder for Videos and 360 spheres**.** It’s going to help a lot. I hope it will be implemented one day.
This is indeed a required feature. I am re-assuring this here so as to keep the tracke.
Photo and Review views should be visible to the respective LG for their contributions whenever they visit the respective POI. At present, it is available when LG is on his/her profile.
