I like this new tab, and for ‘pending’ ones it would be cool to know what would be hepful for Google to make a decision, e.g. maybe we could provide a photo of that missing place or a photo of the opening hours.

We have launched a new tab under “Your contributions” on Google Maps for Android that lets you keep track of all the places you have edited or added on Google Maps or Search. You can see the status of each suggestion - “Approved”, “Pending” or “Not applied”. All of this information is available under the “Edits” tab and is visible only to you.

Note that currently you will only see suggestions made after May 2016.

Support for iOS and desktop Maps is coming soon.

I noticed this function for a while. It is cool and helpful.

Meanwhile, it is also noticed several modifications I submitted keeping in pending status for quite a long time, but some were updated very quickly. The submissions I indictae are in same city, Shanghai (CHN).

I understand Google suffers a lot of limitation in mainland China. But as there is still update for some submission, I amd curious the review and approval system behind. Who and how long it taks to review and approval/reject the submission.

That is an inspiration that drives me i have 700 plus photos with more than a lack views . 40 plus Photo spheres .

this numbers keep inspiring. i am not familiar with this activity ,

my sugessions and feed back is not gettig replied .

i have pointed out that red Short cut bottan for Restaurent , Fuel , “Cash Point” - Cash Point is not fuctioning properly and wrong information provided instead of ATMs in India

this option is not wotkig with IOs

It gives a better picture of what is going on with our submitted places, but it needs extra functionality:

  • sort by pending, rejected, approved
  • link to mapmaker to see why it was rejected and resubmit
  • make it work in desktop version too
