Hey fellow Local Guides,
In May I will be traveling to Seattle for a few days and want to reach out to the Local Guides for suggestion on their opinion on best coffee shops to make worth while. I know the big chains, but I am more of a coffee connoisseur. Looking for the craftsman coffee shops. Our trip will take us down through Oregon and ending in San Francisco, so if any Local guides in those areas as well have passion and knowledge for awesome coffee, I would love to hear about it. I will make efforts to visit those coffee shops.
I host a meet-up group in Chattanooga Tn called Chattanooga Coffee Crawl. It is once a month so if any out of town Local Guides ever visit the area, definitely let me know and I would love to show you around.
With best regards your Chattanooga Local Guide,
Jeremiah Kinser

Hello!
-
Moore Coffee Shop - super popular because they do cute and cool coffee designs - https://www.moorecoffeeshop.com

Starbucks by Pike Place - second original store, there is always a line and people come for the mugs/products. You are right next to Pike Place Market so check that out. If you walk down the hill, you are at the waterfront so Seattle Aquarium is fun and so is the Harbor cruise (next to the Aquarium). That cruise is very informative. Get the City Pass and go on 5 different places and attractions (the deal is pretty good - http://www.citypass.com/seattle).
-
Seattle Meowtropolitan - get coffee and they give you free time to hangout with cats in the cat play area. I came too late and got my coffee but didn’t have enough time to rsvp to hangout with cats (you can watch them in the cafe because the have glass door and windows. So come early and sign up, it is a fun experimeter.

Starbucks Reserve Roastery & Tasting Room - This place is on Capitol Hill and it is beautiful with exotic coffee choices inside. You get to see the roasting process and enjoy the space (copper design is beautiful here).
