Scuba Diving-Exploring the unseen world and Mapping underwater world

It has been sometime since I’ve posted over here, which reminds to share a new chapter of my exploration i.e. Scuba Diving around coastal belt of Karachi.

It was 2014 when I jumped into open sea with few friends back in 2014 and we did snorkeling. It was whole new experience and I still remember the excitement.

Bitten by the bug down there raised the bar to challenge myself and try Scuba, so a new chapter started.

It’s worth mentioning that I am not a swimmer and swimming is not a pre-requisite to dive as discovery scuba dive (Assisted by a qualified dive master) and it was Mohammad Saud who always helped me on all dives made at yet.

About Dive season, the best time to dive is winter when the winds are low, tides are low and beside our imagination the water is warmer vs the temperature on the boat. Less water current results better visibility and not much of force needed to maintain your position plus movement down there.

Here comes the first video of my first dive when we waived the flag in the depths of the Arabian Sea and later overlayed the video with the national anthem making it unique.

It’s a treat to watch this video over and again. To my good Luck this video got famous amongst the viewers and it was shared here n there which attracted the news channels and AlhamduLillah got a few slots on mainstream channels (special thanks to @KashifMisidia who got inspired and made me a hero from zero by bridging the connection with News Channels).

Dive with DAWN News Click here to watch.

This coverage gave a chance to speak about the adventure itself and the roles of individuals and the Government in encouraging alternative sporting/adventure activities in Pakistan. Sadly watersports is most overlooked activity.

Most recent dive was with the Independent UK.

I hope that these videos will surely answer the questions comes to mind and with all honesty Scuba is 100% safe if you follow the compliance and dive with an experienced diver.

What you experience down there cannot be given words and the memory created down there will go a very long way and the things which I personally experienced during these dives can be sum up as:

  • 100% organic and wild world where you swim with the marine life in a natural aquarium.
  • You will really feel that it’s a slow motion world.
  • Soundless environment.
  • Colors of nature in form of corals, plants, flowers and the colors of fishes around you.
  • Diving will give you a feel travelling through space and your body weight is zerod by the water pressure as you dive. Weight of the gear and additional weight you wear will help you dive deep and the kit inflated with variable pressure helps you to maintain your desired level in the water.

Truly an unforgettable experience. I hope the explanation and the videos have done some level of justice to the wonderful nature yet unexplored by 99.9% of us.

Here is another video which was made 2 months back by yours truly.

Do leave a comment if you like this humble contribution.

In the end I would like to salute the efforts of @KashifMisidia who not only pushed the channels for coverage but also stayed in contact throughout each coverage.

I feel sorry for the busy schedule of Kashif Misidia which couldn’t allow him to join any of the dive and hope he will surely join our next dive. InshaAllah.

@Naeemurrehman I can definitely relate to this! Here in Mauritius, we have an abundance of sea activities, including scuba diving and snorkeling. I did both and what an amazing experience; adrenaline-pumping yet enjoyable :star_struck: The encounters with various sea creatures and wow the dolphins :dolphin: :dolphin: :dolphin: were just extraordinary! Your article brought back a wave of nostalgia!!! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts::smiling_face_with_three_hearts::smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

woooooow… thanks for sharing this @Naeemurrehman and thanks for tagging me dear @KashifMisidia .

I miss diving terribly…works have been hindering me from spending some times to go down and enjoy underwater paradise. I love to see those colorful lives underwater in Karachi. How’s the visibility there? good? I bet many will enjoy diving here if

This is my last diving in Labuan Bajo, Eas Nusa Tenggara, where I tried to ‘dance’ with the manta. Gosh I do miss diving… and please do come to Indonesia to all diving lovers!

I sincerely hope I can soon go back underwater again…

Hope #LGSeal friends will join our conversations here

Thank you @SwetaDhondoo , It comes down to challenging your ownself and raising the bar on your next expedition. This world has so much to offer and we are able to explore just a fractional amount. I am glad for how little I have explored till date and miles to go.

Stay blessed and keep exploring.

@indahnuria Truly impressed with your expeditions and hope will dive there soon after all it’s a small world.
