I love to walk around the Schloss Charlottenburg and its beautiful garden. If you have the chance, definitely visit the palace when you are in Berlin. It was built at the end of the 17th century for the first Queen consort of Prussia, Sophia Charlotte of Hannover (read more here). This place is truly magnificent and I hope you like my photos!

Hello @csonmonika
nice pictures about the Charlottenburg Castle in Berlin.
Can you add some more information maybe? How old is the castle (re-building), is there any special history or so on?
And by the way. Do you know that we have a European Meetup in Ghent:

Hi @csonmonika ,
This is gorgeous! Reminds me a lot of Vienna’s Schönbrunn Palace. Have you ever been? Do you live in Berlin? How big is the area of this palace? Can you visit the inside? I also used to go for walks and spend the day at a picnic. It’s really amazing.
Thanks for sharing these beautiful photos with us!
@DanniS Yes, the two palaces are somewhat similar, they are both beautiful! I have been to Vienna a couple of times but I live in Berlin. The area is huge, 550.000 square meters. You can go inside the palace if you purchase a ticket, but I haven’t been since the garden is already big and beautiful enough for a relaxing walk. A picnic sounds nice, although I am afraid of insects, so I try to avoid sitting on the ground.
