Why i started to share?
Overcome Fears and Doubts.
the prompt is what i love share the most on google maps, so i will start with the why to share, as many people we live in a place in a neighborhood and or near by downtown of any city.
but on this days no one knows at all his city, even me, at Mexico city is hard to spend time exploring, we spend so much time on transport, trying to reach on time to school or jobs, that became normal to be late.
once i realice that there where so many places to visit not abroad not outside city, there where places i wanted to see on my own city. but i was so scare to go, there was podcast in witch was shared many places, street food and so own.
after finish school, i always wanted to go, and explore, find a good place to have a cup of coffee rather than Starbucks.
so i made my own bucket list and i try to figure it out how to reach a new place every week.
train needed to reach, bus need to came back. by time to time was a kind of hard, because i had to ask so many people. my parents taxi drivers bus drivers; they know better the city, my friends. even guia Roji; extinguished book of Mexico maps i find out, with google maps and street view i had all that i need, i feel confident i could’t feel i had been there before.
i started to look for those places week by week, and every time that i was on the road, knowing the path, i feel awesome, no fear no doubt i had my mind clear to really enjoy the journey to there, even do i have chance to save the moment i was having with pictures, many pictures. i never define my self as a photographer because i think sometime the camera distract but i wanted to have that moment more that just in my mind. so pictures gave me confident, those pictures i found on street view make me feel ready to go.
with pictures you can see whats coming, you have a perspective of what you can experiment being on the place that is being shown on the picture, i consider my self curious, that curios took me further and every time i was in a new place i take as many pictures as i can.
when i ended my bucket list, i realice that i was not the only one, since i share on google maps and view started to be showed i expect that at less one of those views helps some one to overcome those fears and take the next steep to visit that place they wanna visit.
So this is why i love the most sharing pictures on google maps.
