We have a mainstay vegetable when the dry season arrives which is everyone’s favorite (especially my favorite at home )
Sayur Bening if I as a Javanese call it, maybe in other regions in Indonesia have another name for Sayur Bening(clear vegetables )
I’ll share the recipe here with my lunch supplement, which is sambal

Consists of:
•1 piece of luffa
•1 carrots
•1 sweet corn
•100g green beans
•1 bunch basil leaves
•1 bunch of leaves katuk (can be change with spinach leaves)
•1 clove garlic
•1 red onion
•Laos to taste
•1/2 teaspoon sugar
•1/2 teaspoon salt
•1/2 chicken broth powder
•700ml water
Sambal :
•2 tomato
•10 of chili
•2 red onin
•4 spoon vegetable oil
•shrimp pasta to taste
Wash thoroughly all vegetables before peeling and chopping

How to cook :
~cook boiled water until boiling (important to note, never cook spinach using aluminum-based pans, because the substances contained in spinach can turn into poison when meeting aluminum) use stainless pan or enamel pan.
~Then enter the slices of 2 types of onions and laos
~Then add corn and carrot, after 3 minutes
~Add luffa, beans and katuk leaves
~Add salt, sugar and flavoring then taste correction, turn off the stove
~Then add basil leaves
Taaaaraaaa…
How to made sambal :
lift then puree by adding sugar, salt, shrimp paste to taste. refine can use an electric blender or let it be delicious we usually smooth the sauce using lemper / layah / mortar

Sayur Bening(clear vegetables) suitable to be eaten with any side dish.
Today I want to have lunch with fried salted fish, kids want to have lunch with fried chicken and chiken nuggets plus sambal terasi … wuu really delicious taste, vegetables are very simple in cooking.
Did you know, katuk leaf is very good to be consumed by mothers who are currently breastfeeding because it contains Lactagogum which is able to increase milk production.
For those who are not breastfeeding is also good to consume because it is rich in VitA, Vit B, Vit C and many more good contents for our body.
