Okay so it all starts in June when college admission starts for people who have passed their 10th boards and want to pursue further education. My brother who is passed his boards with flying colors and wanted to pursue diploma in IT (information technology) and further degree too. He applied for the best college that was supposed to be Government Polytechnic Mumbai according to the government but that was not the whole truth. My brother applied to the college and got selected for his desired course. Till now we haven’t seen the college yet and the first time what we saw the college was on the day of paying the admission fees. When we first entered there were cows and their crap was all over the gate. The canteen had few chairs with unhygienic wash basins and plates. There were spider webs all over canteen corner with lots of dust which made my allergies worst. The worst part was that the toilet didn’t had any doors or water or light. Hand wash or soda were out of question. Applying to IT courses in itself means use of computers is necessary but when we asked the students they said that out of 30 computers only 2 are functional and students had to take tokens to work on them. After doing a bit more questioning with the students at the college they mentioned that out of the 6 working days where teachers are supposed to be available are not available even once for the students they also added that most of the course is completed by watching online educational video and through coding apps and also through online courses. What was supposed to be a top college was a nothing but a hoax.
