It is the duty of every citizen to preserve the ancient art and culture of our society. Preserving the beautiful art and culture that our ancestors have made is very essential as it is a representation of our rich heritage. It can be of various forms, such as the monuments and archaeological sites, folk and tribal art, literature and handicrafts or music and drama.
There are multiple ways in which we can contribute in preserving the art and culture of our society. One way is by introducing Fine Arts as a subject in universities and educating the younger generations about their ancestral roots. It is also important to protect our monuments and keep them well maintained at timely intervals by re-touching the paint or adding an extra layer of preservation to the art so that we can preserve it for the longest time possible. Setting up a museum in each area can also be done to add to our efforts of preserving the ancient art of that place.
Ancient art which is once ruined can never be back in the same form that is was before. Therefore it is each and every individuals duty to contribute in preserving our ancient roots and we must never forget where we have come from because that’s our true identity.
