If there is a very interesting, pure and awesome Gothic church in Barcelona this is Santa Maria del Mar (inside view via Google Maps). Build in the XIVth century by Berenguer de Montagut i Ramon Despuig.

There is an interesting book related to this building, it is “La Catedral del Mar” by Ildefonso Falcones.
And there was a great TV series related to it too, called “La Catedral del Mar” produced by TV3.
