Samsung Gear 360 with iMac

Hi Comunity,

have someone a Samsung Gear 360 with a iMac and can me help to find the right way to edit the Pictures? Which software should I take? Thanks

Walter

To be honest the Action director software is really bad for editing, I got it and I use photoshop to fix minor details of the photos. Videos are the only ones you must edit on that program. The editing options are really limited, I suggest you consider another editing software for the photos.

Thank you for answer @LuisHM - now i’ve bought the Panoramstudio 3 Pro to edit my Panoramas from the Gear 360.

Photoshop, for me it’s to expensive i use Pixelmator to edit pictures. I need a little Training and i hope i can proudly present soon my first Panorama on Google Maps made with my new Kamera  .

It is possible to stitch the Samsung gear 360 pictures of the 2016 and the 2017 version on a Mac.

The software is free from Samsung and you can find it here: http://org.downloadcenter.samsung.com/downloadfile/ContentsFile.aspx?CDSite=UNI_DE&CttFileID=6787528&CDCttType=SW&ModelType=N&ModelName=SM-R210&VPath=SW/201704/20170428223105773/Gear360Mac_0427_signed.pkg

Though importing the pictures from the Google streetview app is the best in my opinion.

Afterwards I edit the pictures in Affinity Photo (photoshop works too ,of course)

@Hanzz_art Thanks for sharing this information - Yes it is new since 27 June.

I use Pixelmator and Panoramastudio Pro to edit and i use also the street View App for Uploading.

There is also another option, and a great one. On the app store there is the app “Dual-Fisheye Viewer” opens and stitches very fast the photos and videos. exporting options too, even directly to social media. link here

cost is about 10€
