Hello Local Guides ?
samosa is one of the popular snack in India, a few days back my mom made some delicious samosas for evening snack, which reminded me of the delicious samosa chaat from Surbhi Sweets & Snacks
it usually consist of curd, different types of chutneys, cooked channa (spiced yellow peas), chaat masala and garnished with sev and coriander.
in the homemade version I skipped channa.
Ingredients :
Tamarind and dates chutney
coriander chutney
samosas
Curd (Plain/sweet)
sev
Chaat masala
salt if needed.
steps to make chaat:
- crush the samosa in a plate
- add curd (you can add plain or sweet whichever preferred)
- add chutneys, chaat malasa, salt.
- garnish with sev and coriander.
Enjoy this flavourful chaat ?
which is your favourite chaat or evening snack?
which place/s would you recommend for a delicious evening snack?

Trust me @FalguniP this is my favorite chat ever since I tasted it the first time recently.
I am no chaat fan but prefer sweet items like ice-cream or any other sugar-based sweet.
Recently I tasted the samosa chat after relocating to Delhi last year and have tasted it at several places.
Sometimes, I just purchase samosa from the shop and we make the chat at home.
I always thought using steel utensils for presentation downgrades it but not anymore after looking at the pictures you shared.
Thanks for sharing.

Hello @FalguniP ,
Thank you for sharing these photos with us, the meal looks very delicious!
It’s the first time ever that I see a crushed samosa to which this mix is added.
I didn’t have the chance to taste the chaat yet, but I love samosas and I even made twice at home.

I enjoy Eating samosa with carbonated drinks here in Nigeria, I got to like it so much lately. I hate Eating it when it is cold.
Oops, I don’t usually take photos of it because I don’t deem it fit.
In this your collage, my favorite chaat is the first image by the left. I like my samosas plain.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful post with us here on connect.

@TusharSuradkar ji Thank you for your nice words
I love the diversity of food and so I don’t mind trying out different types of food
I just loved this one the combination of samosa and dahi and channa masala was incredible
it still lingers on my taste buds.
steel and copper plates are important for us, do not feel it is downgrading.
in fact many famous and authentic restaurants serve in Steel plates and our beloved Thalis are mostly served in steel plates
