To answer your question, personally I don’t think there is a time limit nor is there a race to get anywhere before anyone else. We all go at our own particular pace doing what we love and doing it well.

When you leave a message for someone it’s a good idea that you type @ and then from the dropdown list select the name of the person for whom you are leaving the message so that they (in this case me) will get a notification that you have done so otherwise they may not ever know about or see your message. You will see that I have done this at the start of this message to you. I only saw your message because @ErmesT had tagged me in a reply message to you.
The star photo question you see at the bottom of my comments and what you have asked about is part of my signature and in my case it is asking you about your most viewed photo which I call your star photo. In your case your star photo is your photo of Crudo di mare. You can read more about star photos by mouse clicking my signature or this link. I hope this clarifies things.

Il crudo di mare ha qualche mese poi ero a Vecchiano Pisa ha meno di 100000 abitanti e le visualizzazioni credo che non saranno mai al milione! Ha circa 2 mesi la foto

Anche Treviso ha meno di 100.000 abitanti, @Giuseppino , per cui non ti sorprendere di quante visualizzazioni possa avere una foto.
La mia star photo è salita di 200.000 visualizzazioni negli ultimi due mesi, probabilmente perché è la cover di un luogo molto visitato in Maps.

Your Crudo di marestar photo may not have millions of views @Giuseppino but it is a young photo, and besides, if you have a close look at the entries in the Leaderboards, you will see that you don’t need to have millions of views to have a high performing photo and on this @ErmesT has mentioned the impressive recent 200,000 growth in views for his star photo. There are some interesting factors that may impact on photo performance and if you are interested to learn more about this then you should read the Leaderboards post and the comments.
