Owned by an Indonesian young chef and Youtuber, Rius Vernandes, the words “SEC” from SEC Bowl is the abbreviation of Salted Egg Chicken. Their signature menu is Salted Egg Chicken, but they also provide another interesting menu, such as Kungpao Chicken, Shredded Ikan Balado, Spicy Thai Basil Chicken, Black Pepper Chicken.
SEC Bowl at Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK), North Jakarta is a casual dining restaurant that is not too crowded. I see that the presentation of online food delivery order here is higher than dining in. However this restaurant is comfortable for hanging out and chatting for a longer time. And the dish portion here is quite big.
Salted Egg Chicken (IDR 42,000)
Boneless fried chicken bites with creamy and light salted egg sauce served with warm rice, sunny side up (we could choose the cooked or half cooked egg), and soy sauce with chili. Besides chicken, for salted egg rice menu, there are dory fish that is so recommended!
Kungpao Chicken (IDR 40,000)
The stir fry boneless crispy chicken in sweet, savory with a little bit spicy taste, served with warm rice, cashew, and sunny side up.
Salted Egg Chips (IDR 30,000)
A recommended side dish that is only available at SEC Bowl Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) .
The crunchy potato chips in salted egg sauce. So tasty and a good side dish while hanging out. When eating this chips, my most favorite is the bottom part of the chips’ bowl where there is the remaining oily salted egg sauce there. It is indeed the most “addictive” part ?

Makasih @iorikun301 kalau suka telur asin pasti suka deh sama olahan masakan salted egg. Btw, masakan ayam sama kacang mede itu bukan Salted egg, tapi Kungpao Chicken yang pake bumbu manis gurih dengan sedikit pedas. Rasanya juga enak!

Whenever I go to a new restaurant, I tend to order chicken and/or eggs, safe but always delicious! Chips is not my favourite but I believe you when you say it’s “addictive”, it sure looks like it.
If you like the combination taste of sweet, savory with a little bit spicy, you’re gonna love Kungpao Chicken.
To make salted egg sauce, you surely need salted egg, butter, milk, and the other ingredients that you could browse to find the recipe. Actually, I’ve never made it before. And chips are from the deep fried thin sliced potato. I heard that it’s not hard to make salted egg sauce. If you make it, don’t forget to share with us
