Saint Martin island Bangladesh: A coral island

Saint Martin Island: Saint Martin Island is a small Island in the Northeastern part of Bay of Bengal. It’s also Known as Coral Island. There is a small adjoining lsland called Chera Dwip. During British reigns This island was named deputy commissioner of Chittagong Mr. St. Martin.

How to get there: The only way to go this island by Ship but at first you have to go Teknaf through bus from Dhaka city. There are so many way to go Teknaf but i would suggest to go Teknaf by Direct bus from Dhaka.

Travel Cost:

Bus= 18$ USD (1600 Taka BDT) Ac Bus and 12$ USD(1200Taka BDT) Non Ac Bus (From Dhaka City)

Ship= 5-10$ USD ( 500-1000TAKA) for up Down

About My Trip: it was 2018, 20 December me and my some friends started our journey to Saint Martin from Dhaka. We booked our tickets six day before. Everything was perfect. Our bus took 10 hours to reach Teknaf. At 8 AM we reached Teknaf then we hurriedly got to Ship beacause this ship start at 9AM from Teknaf and finally had reached Saint Martin at 12PM.

About Food: This island is famous for It’s Coconut fruits. I personally had drink 10 Coconuts in two days. Without it you can eat different kinds of sea food as well at cheaper rate.

Overall It’s was my one of the best adventures journey ever in my life. In one word just Amazing. I’ll never forget this Journey.

I want to learn how to jump that high too! I have only being to one St. Maarten Island, and that’s the one on the Caribbean. A picturesque Island!
