SAFFRON bulbs HARVEST.
These bulbs were sown in end November last year my grandmother garden but they didnt flower. I think these bulbs took time to acclimatize and also were sown late, therefore, no expensive Saffron (Zaffron) flowers this time. I did have a good harvest of bulbs as they multiplied 300 from 50.
Hopefully will sow them back in October this year with a hope to get good yield of saffron this time…

It’s great that you harvests saffron. For what do you use it for?
I would like to ask you to remove the first photo of the flower saffron as it does not appear to be your own and is in violation of the Local Guides program rules. Your post is written very well and in a really interesting way but it would be great if you could provide your own images.
