Sharing on google maps have become one of my favorite things on Google Maps, it is not only about just posting or checking in but leaving a trail and a mark that you will be remembered of. I have joined Google Local Guides about a year ago and I have since learned a lot about many other things I never thought I would learn on Google Maps.
I knew I couldn’t ride across the oceans and continents. So I decided to travel around first, exploring my surroundings first was the key and one of the most inspiring things. It helped me develop my exploring skills and my world view of things aiming to one day travel the world, the more I thought about it, the more excited I became about my future plans in traveling. If I will do this, I will have to thoroughly prepare, I thought. Would I be able to make it over towering mountains and across burning deserts? What if I got lost somewhere and didn’t know the language? Those questions are still pending for answers.
What I love most about Local Guides is that it never limits you and you always find the answer on the “what to do next” question. I love traveling and this has also helped me know a bit more about my country. When joining Google Local Guides, my aim was to update and keep content and places around my area accurate. I also had a vision to add all the missing places on the map.
