Rum Baba

A delicious French pastry filled with rum. In some bars rum is at very little percentages or even replaced with flavors, while in other places these pastries are well filled with rum.

Baba o better Babba’ is a very typical dessert in Naples, we know it very well and we have it in many flavors, from “mignot” size up to big cake dressed in all kind of styles.

This is a typical Babba’ cake available in every pastry shop in Naples. It is sold with a small bottle of rum in the middle of the cake so that you can finish topping it up when you will eat it … btw it is already full of rum besides the additional provided bottle :-). Have you ever tasted this version? Delicious!
