The sample and concise description of this place “It is fabulous”. As a student in Budapest - Hungary I made my mind up to visit all places in this beautiful country. One day while I was looking for a good place. Suddenly, I found this great palace, I read many articles about history, architect, location, … etc. next day I called a friend of mine and told him about my plan. we traveled from the city center to the Gödöllő, as all parts of Hungary the transportation to Gödöllő is available and easy to access. we took the train H8 it takes about 45 minutes. at the entrance you should take photos with the colorful and well-designed entrance, it is free to visit the ground floor and the external parks around the palace. There are two parks, the park in front of the palace is wide and clean, so it is a good chance to take some snacks and soft drinks to enjoy it in the front park. after that, the ground floor is the common services area there is nothing special except the coffee shop, it is a small stylish coffee shop where you can grab a cup of your favorite coffee and delicious cake, the prices are a little bit higher than the coffee shops outside, But, if you want to enjoy the environment and take a few photos it is worth to spend extra money. The back yard is very green, well-organized, and quiet. many people take professional photos in this place as a unique place. all of these places are free so you can save your money. However, if you are going to dive deeper into the palace history it is worth paying 1,800 FHU (This is the students’ price) for non-students the prices are different. after getting your tickets, you can go upstairs using the two staircases in the main lobby. but be careful it is prohibited to take bags with you, but there are many lockers where you can keep it. On the second floor, you can smell history especially with decorations, fabrics, tools, weapons, … etc. the staff is really friendly and helpful despite many of them do not speak the English language, but they do their best to guide you wherever you want to go.
