Which do you think is the correct variant Photo 1 or Photo 2?

However, Pixel phone always captures a photo in the right orientation.
I experimented through clicking two photos of the same scene, by holding the volume button down in the second attempt. Notwithstanding, both the pics had the same bearing.
PS @To_paul : I am editing my reply to reveal the criterion for the test of the correct orientation. That is related to the optics “the law of reflection”
The reflection perceived in the second pic is not possible according to that law.
Meanwhile, you can check whether the gyroscope is functional.

Is there a cave behind the river?
What is the name of the river?
What kind of aquatic animals can you find in the river?
Where were you staying, that is a platform before you took the photo?

@To_paul If I were there, Photo 2 would be a perfect view to me as I would do Downward Facing Dog pose there.

Poto number one is correct but still Pixel recommended me three times to rotate the photo.
Why ?
probably the algorithm failed to set the horizon or sky line correctly

I read some reviews, the road to the tourist destination is very bad from the review I read.
No one mentioned anything about Radioactivity.
But some people mentioned about the poor direction, lack of management and maintenance.
And a lot more.
