The Castro, the gay culture district in San Francisco, California, USA, is a vivid neighborhood and has rainbow flags and banners everywhere which is impossible to be misidentified. On the day I took this picture, the sky color was ridiculously beautiful and reminds me of the Pantone color of the year 2016: Rose Quartz and Serenity. The blending of these two color shades really softens the scene and makes it deeply ink in my memory.
Hello @ChanneLing ,
Great photo, thanks for sharing! I love the pink shades in the sky and all the lights down the street. What else can you tell us about this district in San Francisco? What other places have you visited?
@ChanneLing अत्यंत सुंदर चित्र मन को प्रफुल्लित और आनंदित करने वाला चित्र है, बहुत सुंदर नगर।
Awesome picture and likewise district in SF, loved it! @ChanneLing
So beautiful, @ChanneLing ! I love when the sky is like that, a bit pink and blue. I really liked The Castro, too.
Hi @MoniDi,
Thank you! Glad you liked the picture.
It’s a pity that I didn’t spend much time there but only passed by. However, I do find that this area has quite some quaint independent stores, and many LGBTQ friendly shops, of course. ?
Ohhh! And the rainbow honor walk is an iconic spot to check out. ?
Hi @Stphn ,
Thank you! The scene itself is actually way more beautiful than the picture could’ve ever stated. But still, I’m glad that you like my picture! ![]()
Hi @Jesi ,
Thanks! Yeah, what an amazing color combination, right?
I found that the sky color in California is just so dreamy. In the city I’m living in now, we don’t have that kind of pink/blue or purple/orange shades often. I don’t know it’s geography or air quality thing. ![]()
Hey @ChanneLing ,
Thanks for replying back and sharing another great photo from your trip. It looks great!
