Roof Garden - every inch of place is precious in City

Residing in Metropolitan city and enjoying the nature by sitting at home is a wonderful experience. In few of my previous posts I have share about my front garden and plantation. These days I am working on ROOF GARDEN very seriously to utilize the available on the Roof and to protect my house from hot summer.

After spending some amount and so much of hard work for one week (I love to do this job) it has com to a shape and now i forgot the struggle by seeing the greenery.

I am happy to introduce my friend “Julie”, I found this turtle near to our home. Daily when go to terrace to feed her, she saw me coming, she will come out from the water. I use to spent some time everyday while feeding the food to my "Julie"

I am using cocopit to grow the vegetable plants, so daily water pouring is not required, you can give water in every three days is enough. And now my house inside temperature is also 2 to 3 degrees lesser then my neighbors.

Nature lover’s please share your valuable feedback and suggestions by commenting below.

This is really cool @VijayaNagesh you must have a strong roof to hold all that up. Is that your pet tortoise?
