Back on August 30th, I shared a post about long delays in Roadmapper approvals. Many of us had edits pending for weeks, and we were wondering when the backlog would clear.
I have some encouraging news to share.
Yesterday, on October 1st—right as TORM 2026 kicked off—I received an approval for a road I drew in Myanmar (Burma) on September 30th (1.6 km).
After such a long gap, seeing approvals come through so quickly is a wonderful sign. It shows that the review process is active again just in time for the campaign.
For everyone participating in TORM 2026, this is a great boost. Keep mapping and drawing those roads with confidence!
Very good @PrasadVR, but did you get approvals for anything BEFORE September 30th? After having no approvals from August 16th to September 16th, I stopped drawing. Those are all still Pending. Now today on October 1st, I started the TORM campaign with 20 Challenges measuring 20.4 Km. I hope these get approved.
@TitikMariati , Thank you so much! I understand you are discussing Road Mapper. Don’t lose heart; mapping roads takes practice and patience.
Let’s keep our fingers crossed! Hopefully the review system starts clearing all our pending challenges very soon. Thanks for sharing your feedback @MortenCopenhagen!
Thank you, @tony_b! I quickly checked, and the previous submissions are still pending since August 17.
Thank you, @doni_hariadi, for sharing your feedback. It motivates the TORM team to know our contributions are acknowledged.
I had a quick check, and like yours, everything between mid-August and September 29th is still pending. Only the road drawn on September 30th got approved so far.Thnak you sharing your approval stastus dear friend @Kumaarsantosh.
Even if it is just one approval, it is good to see some movement after weeks of waiting. Hopefully, the older pending edits get cleared soon.
It is raining here today, so I’m trying to get some Road Mapper roads dialed in.
I remember there was a shortcut to delete a node. I can drag it to the neighboring node, but I thought a double-click would do the same. Or maybe I’m mixing up the Road Editor in Maps and Roadmapper.
Hello @PrasadVR Dada, thank you for sharing this great news with us.
Yes, I noticed on my Road Mapping Dashboard that some roads have already been added to the maps!
