The Road Trip across southwest Nigeria took place in 2015. During the tour, the team visited 10 destinations across 6 southwestern states of Nigeria in 3 days.
The sites we visited were:
- The famous Olumo Rock - Ogun State
- Erin-Ijesha waterfall - Osun State
- Badagry Slave Port - Lagos State
- Osun Groove (UNESCO World Heritage Site) - Osun State
- Cocoa House - Oyo State
- Fajuyi Park - Eikiti State
- Idanre Hills - Ondo State
- Ikogosi Warm Spring - Ekiti State
- Oranmiyan Monument - Osun State
- Whispering Palms Resort - Lagos State
The trip was my first real shot at adding places to Google map, adding reviews and pictures on Google. Over the years, I have gone ahead to add all the sites I visited to Google maps, created countless of reviews and answer a number of questions and its been an amazing journey for me.
In conclusion, I see Google Local Guide as a place of expression crafted for people like me to help the world find places and making informed decisions about various places on our blue planet.
