Hi @MR.NMM, waiting for a few weeks is actually completely normal for road edits. Since road changes affect GPS and navigation for everyone, the team verifies them manually and it usually takes about 2 to 4 weeks or sometimes a bit longer. If it stays pending for over 30 days, you should post this in the official Google Maps Help Community at Google Maps Community . The Product Experts there can escalate pending edits if you provide photos of the road signs. Just hang tight for now!
An edit about road can remain pending up to 90 days so, generally speaking, the fact that your edit are still pending should be considered a Good news. Most of my latest added road (I added 94k+ in the recent years) were approved after 90 days. However, in the last year the approval of roads dropped, and most of them are not accepted. This is a well know situation reported by a lot of roaders in Connect.

Can you imagine 150 million people (or even just 15k people) writing in the Help community to “escalate pending edits” that they can’t see, based on a “photo of the road sign” that can potentially be “fake”?
Can you imagine the disappointment of the people that followed your suggestion, when they receive a “no” as the answer?
What if a group of disappointed Local Guides reports you for providing unreliable suggestions?

Of course, the Google Maps Community can help you, @MR.NMM , but only if you can provide them a link to an updated “official and publicly accessible” map, issued by a local authority. This is the only evidence they will trust

I appreciate your clarification about the type of evidence required by the Google Maps Help Community. I will continue improving Google Maps in my area and will wait for the review process. If any road edits remain pending beyond 30 days, I will check whether an official, publicly accessible government map is available before seeking further assistance.
In my opinion pending is apolit way from google for rejection. If you didn’t get approval within two day 99% yor edits have something (long, shadow, tree, black spot, not alligined). Google might approve it with in 90 days but eventually they will vanish.
I recommend you to improve your technique ( short segment, stop before shadow or trees).
Anything less than 90 days is considered “normal”. Painfull reality but it’s a fact. This road drawing function is a real test of patience, but still very addictive if you get into it.
As all of those that mentioned it, it does take time sometimes.
This morning I received an approval dated from May 23rd, That’s about 72 days,
Don’t normally get them that much later but it happens.
Be patient and keep adding roads.
