@sabya thank you for the encouragement. This is a beautiful forest near Rajahmundry in Andhra Pradesh. Jungle star eco camp/ resort is situated on a hillock surrounded by Palamaneru river and run by state government. You can go for treks , visit waterfalls, have campfires and relish local special bamboo chicken if you are non vegetarian.

@JMD9 Maredumilli is a forest with mythological significance. Lord Sriram of Ramayana supposed to have fought and killed Vali , the Vanara king in favour of Sugreeva. There is a hill nearby still called Vali Sugreeva hill. And lot of monkeys around😀. The famous Bhadrachalam Ram temple is 2 hrs drive from here.
