Ritz Carlton Tokyo Review
I’ve stayed in dozens of high-end hotels and still struggle to find my favorite one.
Below are three big favorites and others in the U.S., Saudi Arabia—and Japan.
Colossae Thermal & Spa Hotel
Karahayıt, 112 Sk No:4, 20290 Pamukkale/Denizli,
Crowne Plaza Resort Guam, an IHG Hotel

Fusaki Beach Resort

When reviewing a hotel, I am speaking from the highest accommodation level. Somewhere in the price range of USD 790.00 per night per person with the all-inclusive package is what we chose.
Last weekend, I treated my partner to one night at the Ritz Carlton’s highest-floor executive suite with nice views of downtown Tokyo.
Package included four meals: Afternoon tea buffet before checking -with unlimited alcohol; champagne, not sparkling wine. We enjoyed a buffet with unique cuisines and unlimited drinks, including cocktails and champagne. The French baguettes and croissants are almost the same level as what is made in Paris.
There’s a state-of-the-art gym with free weights and machines. I especially enjoyed the vibration plate machines for cardio. The pool and jacuzzi had beautiful night views of Shinjuku. Swimcaps and eyewear were included, and you can rent swimwear.
Our room also had this workstation so we could work remotely; plus, the Wi-Fi was super strong, and we could both attend our respective meetings without any problem.
All staff are multilingual and are very eager to serve and support you. Our suite was replete with Diptyque body wash products, including Loofahs and huge expensive body towels, robes, and pajamas. The bathroom was lavish and had a huge bathtub with a his/hers sink.
The highlight was our view from the room. Rainbow Bridge was in clear view, as was the Mori Building, snowcapped Mount, Fujii, the Carrot Tower, and even as far as The Landmark Tower in Yokohama, the second largest prefecture in the world.
The service did not feel fake and rehearsed but natural and warm. When I was full, the staff offered to deliver my leftovers up to my room to eat later.
Access:
I was not able to capture the DOF with my iPhone, so sorry for the blurry photos. It is easy to access this hotel through major train lines. I recommend the Hibiya Line Roppongi Exit, then follow it to Midtown shopping mall, and you should see the entrance.
