Reviews of food sent through a delivery

Hi, friends,

I’m LG from Blitar, a place from Indonesia.

My question is, are we allowed to give a review of the taste of the food, whereas we have never come to the restaurant where the food was made.

(I only know the appearance and taste of the food, which was sent through a delivery service. But never been go to a restaurant that cooks the food).

Great question, @Widyapramana .

I would not hesitate writing a review, but I would make sure to include details on how / where you tasted the food. Just be honest and don’t leave out such details that would be important for the business to know.

That means it is allowed. I will do the same after this. I often order food through the cell phone application.

It would not make any sense to review food ordered via an app as if the app company prepared the food. Enjoy your lunch!

I have my personnal opinion about the review of the delivered food of a restaurant.

Please focus yor review :

  • on food that you order, not the restauran
  • the packaging
  • the distance between the restaurant and the place you open and enjoy the food
  • time you are ordering, breakfast, lunch, dinner time, in crowded traffic it will make a different review
  • take the picture of condition you are received
  • take the picture while you open it
  • the taste of food, not other that you don’t order
  • your suggestion
