Hello everyone. I really need your help with this one.
I have started reviewing and publishing photos on google maps almost two years ago. I have dedicated a lot of effort to reviewing avvurately and especially to publishing many photos. In the last two years most of my reviews didn’t go public and the few who did, were restrained from getting normal views. Even photos from my profile have been flagged as not respecting google maps policy even though they are accurate and precise. I don’t understand why the algorithm keeps restraining my account from having a normal interaction with the google maps community. Moreover, I have just now noticed that my account does not have access to the ‘answers’ menu. I didn’t even know about this tool until a friend showed me he was making many points by answering questions. I am really annoyed with google maps not letting me access the questions menu.
The most annoying thing is that some reviews that were not posted in the last few years I have managed to post now. The problem is that the algorithm isn’t boosting my reviews (obviously) because they are 2 year old reviews that have no interactions (very few views and 0 likes).
Please let me know how I can fix all these issues, thanks.

I would recommend only raising one issue per post.
Your review views and likes are not unusually low. You can check the contributions from fellow users. They are always much lower than photo views.
11 out of your 60 reviews are hidden.
Google has automatic filters that hide your reviews so only you can see them. This can happen when some of your reviews violate the review guidelines.
Read about typical review guideline violations here. And please see my latest post called 4 Tips on writing better reviews.
If you are on a Desktop use this link to Count your hidden contributions. From a mobile device use this link.
If you want to identify which of your reviews are hidden check this post.
Please use the form called Account Investigation for contributions not visible on Google Maps if you believe that some of your contributions have been wrongfully unpublished. Keep in mind, it takes several weeks for the check to be done, and you will not be notified about the result, so I suggest you check the status of your reviews once a week or so.
The Answer questions feature is linked to your timeline. So if you did not allow Google Maps to track your location history you will not see such questions.
Best of luck
Morten
Thankyou for helping @MortenCopenhagen . I really appreciate. I will look into everything you have given me. I think I have committed the mistake of liking my own reviews. Could have this prompted the algorithm to start flagging me as bad reviewer? I have noticed it is flagging even my photos now.
Moreover. Do you have any advice reguarding the ‘questions’ menu?
Thanks again.

A long time ago liking your own reviews was an issue. Maybe it still is.
The review guidelines are quite elaborate so it’s easy to violate some without intending to do so.
But most likely it is just the spamfilter being unadjusted
I did answer about the questions issue

@MortenCopenhagen sorry I missed your answer.
How is it possible that I have two google accounts on the same phone, both not having enabled the location history, and I have the ‘questions’ menu available on one account but not on the other?
Do you have any ideas? Thanks for the help.

Hi @lionard_kiplin
You can have and use several Google Accounts on one device. But you need to check that Local History is ON for the account you use for contributions on Google Maps. I would not recommend having it turned on for more than one account and device.
After turning it on you need to travel a bit and wait for the questions to start showing up in your Maps app.
You may also watch for the grey bottom box saying “Do you know this place?” when browsing Google Maps. Answering Yes will also take you to the questions.
Cheers
