Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. It would help to know if this will ever be resolved and if not, I could stop making the effort to make the contributions.
This is not new! New is only, (sometimes) we receive a notification if a review was not accepted. A review can be rejected because of one or more attached photo or video and/or because of some words in the text.
My suggestion:
Remove all photos/videos from the review
Under My contributions → Reviews on the desk top, watch if the review is posted (status changes from ‘pending’ to ‘new’ or ‘just now’). It might take some minutes, so use refresh (Ctrl-R) several times.
If the reviews without media is still not accepted, remove parts of the text and try again.
If the text is accepted, add you photos, but only one at a time, each time checking again, as described above
Good luck. As I said, only my own personal experience. There are many reports here on Connect, but the bottom line is, Google won’t tell us what exactly and why they refuse some parts of a review.
