Reviews are being filtered because of same subject matter?

Hi there. I’ve found that my reviews seem to be getting filtered? I checked all the usual reasons that happens, and none of those are the issue here. The only thing I can think of is they’re both the same kind of business? To be honest it’s kept me from writing any more. Is there a way to fix this?

@Ankypants This is unusual. The filter process is done by automated systems which may have been triggered by something. Have you reviewed these same kinds of businesses in a short range of time?

No, they were almost a year apart. Same kind of business, one was a positive experience and one was a negative.

@Ankypants Just to make sure we understand the situation correctly, did you mean that some of your reviews cannot be seen by others, but can be seen only by yourself? Is that what the situation is?
If you meant something else, do explain in more detail so we can help better.

In the mean time, if you meant that some of your reviews (and photos) are not publicly available, but only you yourself can see it, then it possibly may have been marked private, possibly due to not complying to the Google Maps user contributed content policy. Yes, I mean that some of my reviews and photos are not publicly available but only I can see it. As I stated originally, I looked at non-compliance concerns, and they do not apply at all in my case.
