I’m sorry about your issues with photos and reviews.
When a review related to a place that is inside the EU is made private you are notified about that. As you said that only in some cases you were able to appeal, the explanation can be that:
Some of the review was blocked because of the attached media. In this case you are notified but to fix the review you have to delete the media that is triggering the filter.
Or
The review was related to a place not in the EU. If so you will not receive any notification. The first thing to do is to try to remove the media to see if the review is published. If not you may have to edit the text to comply with the policies. If it doesn’t work there is an appeal form to fill, as you already know. The check may take several weeks, and you will not receive a notification about the decision of the team.
What do you mean when you say that you can’t see your photos? Are you talking about your profile, or the location where the photo was published?
I have started to review places without adding photos but it hasn’t helped.
I have also rewritten them but that hasn’t helped either.
And nothing in my review breaks any policies.
And all the places are in the EU.
And I am talking about my profile. The pictures I’ve uploaded don’t even show up on my profile. They don’t show up on the location either. They just disappear.
I get points for them and sometimes I even write the name of the dish. But then they just disappear.
