I am currently not receiving any review suggestions in my account, is there any setting to change?
Any tips to boost the suggestions?

Make sure your location is turned on, so when you visit a place Google will automatically suggest you to review the place. I believe this is what you meant by review suggestions. @anon53600968

Location is always turned on, but still not getting any suggestions

@anon53600968 you can also check on ‘contribute now’ option to find review suggestions.

Perhaps you turn of the notifications,
Open Google Maps Apps> Your Picture (top right side corner)> Settings>Notifications> Reviews and media> Set preference for all (enable them).
