Welcome to our first Review of the Week! We regularly feature incredible imagery in our Photo of the Week series, and are excited to start highlighting even more Local Guides who are making an impact by sharing helpful information about interesting places around the globe.
This week, we’re loving Valentyna P.’s review of the Rosh Hanikra Grottoes in Rosh Hanikra, Israel. In it, she said that she thinks this is one of the most beautiful sightseeing spots in all of Israel.
Beyond capturing the beauty of the area in her photos, we selected this particular review because Valentyna also packed her review full of helpful accessibility information.
“First of all, it is made totally ACCESSIBLE for wheelchairs and elderly people with walking difficulties,” she shared in her review on Google Maps.
She explained that there are wheelchair paths from the parking lot to the grotto area. She also noted that there are some areas that are not as easy to navigate, but all of the major sights at this location can still be seen. This information is incredibly helpful, especially in a review of a natural area like this near the water.
Pro tip from Valentyna? Visit in the evening to get the best view of the changing colors in the water.
The Local Guides Review of the Week is chosen based on a variety of criteria. We look for genuine, helpful reviews that include quality details about interesting places. Featured photos and reviews are taken by actual Local Guides around the world who have uploaded them to places on Google Maps.
