This month, we’re loving Local Guide @Flonja 's review of theGrand Park of Tirana in Tirana, Albania. In it, she says, “Great Park of Tirana is a very peaceful place to spend some hours or even the whole day. It offers many things such as a long path you can walk or jog/run [on] and other pathways you can cycle [on]. There are paths, which are large, and a good group of people can walk onto, but there are also narrow pathways through the woods if you’d prefer to explore nature.”
We selected this review because it includes many important details for the visitors of the park: the existence of several affordable bars and restaurants where you can enjoy a drink or a meal; the accessibility of all three entrances and the grounds; the suitability of the place for kids. Additionally, Flonja also mentions the variety of fun activities you can do there, like playing football and basketball, or simply reading by the lake. She makes it clear that it’s a place for groups of every age and size.
