Review not posted

I am a Level 7 local guide and in the past month my reviews have started being restricted due to policy. There is absolutely nothing violating google policy,pictures are all mine,and the reviews are based on my experiences traveling. For one of them I was able to appeal and it was approved,for the others the appeal option is not there. Any advise would help,thanks!

If there is no way to appeal, most probably Maps is inviting you to “edit your post”.

It means that the issue is with one of the media (photos or videos) attached to your reviews.

In this case what you have to do is to remove the media and post the review again.

It happened to me too, and I had to remove the photo of a dish from my review.

At the moment it is not possible, as far as I know, to ask for a check of a photo

I have the same issue. @ErmesT how do you know if the problem lays in the photos/videos or the review itself? If I click for more details, it only says I need to read the policy. But it doesn’t say where issue is.

Maybe it is something different, I’m basing my reply on my experience but I would be happy to see a different kind of message

Do you have access to your profile in Google Maps on desktop? If so, just click on the preview of the photo. If the issue is in there, a new window will open with a message about that

Updating that I read the advise here and took out the photos and then the reviews were posted. It is a bit strange as I am definitely not a professional photographer so not sure why this was the problem. I am not sure if I am supposed to post reviews without photos from now on.
