Review Junkie in Melbourne, Australia.

Hi Everyone,

I’m delighted to be here as a local guide and share my story with you. When I’ve started my journey as a local guide, I had no clue what it was. All I knew was that it’s a platform for people sharing their reviews and experiences. I still remember when I moved down to Melbourne, I had the struggle to find a good hair salon or a good restaurant, so after a while, google reviews helped me to find what I’ve been after in a new city where I call home now. This motivated me to sign up as a local guide and start sharing my experience with other people hoping it can help others in my situation.

I started reviewing everywhere I went or every place that I had food until I realised oh, I could get a badge, which makes it more exciting! It was the moment when I browse the internet for more tips about the local guide! And there we go! My professional story as a local guide has begun! I have come to this point; Oh, I would like to make an impact on people’s lives and decisions! If I go somewhere that I’m satisfied with the service that I’ve been offered, now it’s my responsibility to share it with other people. What I enjoy about being a local guide is when I get likes on my reviews! That’s where I know I have helped someone! Until now, I haven’t had this opportunity to add a new place as a local guide yet. I still recall after getting my hair done, I was really upset with the previous salon, so I was looking for a hair salon near my place to go and fix my hair colour! After searching for a couple of days! I found it and the service I was offered amazed me! I loved it! So, as you all might do, I submitted my review for the gr8 customer service and excellent job that they did on my hair! After some time, I got 1,451 views for that post, which made me thrilled. Apart from being a foodie, I would love to go for a walk after lunch at work. My office is in the heart of Melbourne. There’s a garden called flagstaff garden. When the sun gets out, you can see people having their food, playing, jogging, etc. it’s a picturesque garden! It’s known to local people, but I’m pretty sure tourists would like to find out about the best parks and gardens while they are staying in Melbourne, especially in Melbourne CBD.

As a local guide, it gives me the feeling of satisfaction and joy, when I know I’ve made a positive impact on someone’s choice when they like my reviews, or they see my posts. I believe this could help people making an informed decision on where to spend their money as well as giving business that makes a great afford on providing a distinguished service for their customers a sense of recognition.
