Review is not posted even though my appeal was approved

This so-called company apparently has dozens of fake accounts (newly created, a few to no other reviews) and they post positive reviews and report negative reviews. Since this means dozens of reports, reviews are automatically removed quickly. This situation is already widespread and hopefully, Google will do something, that’s another subject.

Thankfully, there is that appeal option. I used it, my review was approved and I also saw it was posted just fine. A week later, I decided to check my review, it was removed again! If I click “details” it still shows it as “approved”. What gives? Scammers won!

Hi @MutluCanY

I am afraid your current review is not following the guidelines. Now it is referring to threats and the publishing process. Your review needs to be based on factual experiences with the business and not writing a review on Google Maps.

Cheers

Morten

I think if my review follows the guidelines is already officially decided. The moderator approved that review by deciding it was falsely applied to the policies. All those threats are factual experiences with the “so-called” business.

That’s not the case here. I did not edit my comment after approval either. I thought my post was clear but let me tell it another way. The same review you see on the screenshot was approved and published. After one week, it was “silently” removed. Emphasizing “silently” here as one always gets an email if something is up with their review.

I wouldn’t care about this if people weren’t scammed by this. This is not a frustration with an unsatisfactory experience. This actually hurts people.

Yay! The map entry is removed altogether now.
