Hi! I’m noticing that all restaurants are shown as offline for my account (not the case for my other Google accounts), and the problem has persisted for some days now. I think it might be related to me having posted a negative review which I think has gotten reported by a business owner. Am I banned from viewing information about restaurants on this account?
This problem only applies to restaurants, I can view bars and museums just fine
Kindly share a screenshot showing restaurants being offline. I don’t recall having seen this in the past.
Do you mean you can not open the placesheets as described in this post?

As you can see, the restaurant is offline while the bakery is not, this is consistent for all restaurants. Also: my negative review and associated photo is not displayed on my public profile, so seems like it got removed

The offline status visible in there is telling you that you are not connected to the internet, so maps can show only a limited amount of information.
If this is the usual area where you move, most probably Google Maps downloaded an offline version of the area. This is very helpful to have a map available saving internet connection, bot on the meantime it means that you cannot have “real Time data” available. As in the same screenshot we can see that you have a very good internet signal, the message is probably related to your settings (permissions) or to a glitch in the App.
I would make a test by changing the battery optimization on your mobile setting. The function can turn off the online use of maps for saving battery, and this can be one of the possible reasons for the app not being able to update the info of some business
