I posted this review on a local restaurant’s page and it only appears to me but no one else:

How I can reach out to Google to discuss this?

Hello @jlrthree
You have locked your profile.
No one can see your reviews except for some approved followers. However, there are none.
Nonetheless, viewers can always watch reviews at the related POI. If that’s not possible, then there is another problem. Possibly the AI has marked the review as private.
A review becomes private when that doesn’t conform to the policies as mentioned at this link.
https://support.google.com/contributionpolicy/answer/7422880?hl=en
Please analyse the content and remove any none conforming text to make the review public.
Nevertheless, there would be many more number of private reviews. It would be difficult to find that if you keep your profile locked.
Hi @jlrthree the advice given by @C_T is correct, the review has been made private. This can happen by algorithm or by human intervention based on reports from the owner or other Local Guides.
You’re welcome to paste the full review text here and I’m happy to give you some constructive feedback on how you might avoid this in the future. If the review mentions anyone by name please XXXXXX that out.
Paul
Hello @jlrthree ,
I am glad to see that you already received assistance from other Local Guides. I can confirm that reviews can be made private when they don’t comply with our content guidelines or when the author decides to hide their contribution from the public profile through the profile settings. In the second case the review should be still visible on the page of the restaurant.
I wanted to let you know that I just moved your post to the How-tos section, which is the most appropriate board for this kind of questions. I also marked @C_T 's comment as solution. To know more about the forum and its topics, you can start from Your guide to Connect.
This is the content of my review:
“I write this review after weeks of thinking about it. From the very first time my wife and I (light-skinned Puerto Rican and dark-skinned Puerto Rican) visited Partners, we didn’t feel welcome. Not by the staff, and not by the patrons. I noticed us being stared at by patrons and the apathy we felt from the staff. I told my wife, let’s continue to go because we can’t allow ourselves to be bullied out of a seemingly “whites only” environment. This is 21st century America, I thought. We visited Partners, and ordered take-out a dozen or so times. We tipped well, were courteous, respectful, and friendly, but the staff’s apathy never changed. Sometimes they’d forget parts of our order or not visit our table unless we signaled and I gave up. I thought to myself, why? Why continue supporting this business? I understand we can’t control how the patrons feel about us, but the staff never remembered our names (even though we remembered theirs), continued being apathetic and standoffish, and ignoring us. I gave Partners hundreds of dollars over a matter of months of giving the restaurant and staff the opportunity to show me that it wasn’t discontent with our presence but, rather, a lack of familiarity. And, sadly, I write this to review to warn other Puerto Ricans and minorities in the community. You won’t be welcome here. Lastly, I’m not going to put up with racism AND moist, cold take-out.”
Hi @Giu_DiB
I hope it’s cool that I piggyback on this. None of my reviews are showing up for anyone but me. I don’t think my profile is private unless I’m missing something. I am certain that my reviews are not violating any policies.
I am hoping I’m missing something obvious…
Big thanks in advance!
