First of all, I heartily want to thank you @Anonymoususer1 for helping in my life every single day. Google has allowed people to share their views about a particular place. It could be a Tourist place, restaurant, theatre, mall, road, shop, businesses, etc. We as a local guide, always needed to find a platform like this to share our views and contribute to the new places around us. So with the help of the Google Guide Program, we contributed in every possible way.
I would like to share the most interesting story of my experience with Google Guide. One day I had to go to one of the schools in the city next to a small town where I actually live. On the day of the exam in that school, I searched for the shortest way to the school from my home, and it went perfectly until the area of the school. After traveling for almost 2 hours bus ride from my home, I again followed the way on Google Map and after walking for 20 mins that street took me to someone’s house where people were living with their pets such as goat, Cat, and Dog. That dog started staring at me and was barking. I was feeling so scared and started running from that house. The most interesting part was that the street was so narrow which was nearly 3’ wider. Somehow I ran away from that place and reached the school safely. After the exam, I shared the suggestion of misrouting to google and it is now corrected.
Local Guide Program is like the job I am doing it all day and it helps people like me in growing business also saves tourists from the alert area. Small street food vendors gain more customers after contributing to their business on a map. So Overall it means a lot to me that Google has this amazing program.
